The slopes of the Montnegre hillsides drop down to Canet de Mar, where they form the Pedracastell forests. The town's highest peak is 300 metres and gives one of the best panoramic views of the coastline. Barcelona can be seen on clear days. Since 2006, there have been marked routes in the forests of Canet and there is also the GR-5 grande route which connects Canet de Mar and Sitges.
